  1. Ginger,

It mostly depends on the sacker at the store. Most of them freak out when we ask them to go ahead and pile everything in the bags. lol…

In this picture, the sacker put ALL the heavy things in one bag, and it weighed a TON. This is the first time that’s happened though. Usually things even out well enough that it’s not a problem carrying both bags in at the same time.

They are SUPER tough too. We’ve carried 50-60 pounds of stuff in these babies! Each one has two handles, short ones and over the shoulder length. We picked them up for less than $1 each last year. We keep 3 bags in the car and 1 at home.

  2. Yes! Yes! Yes! I LOVE my blue ikea bags. They also work great for library junkies who get way too many books while there. šŸ˜‰

We just recently got back from a year living in London. While there, I would load up my blue bags with tons of groceries. And then, by the time I had walked home lugging them and with the two kiddies and pushing the buggy, I was huffing and puffing, ’cause the darn things were so heavy. They hold a ton of stuff!
