DD’s art teacher encouraged her to participate in the city’s first ever, downtown jazz festival. DD didn’t have any artwork available to display, so instead she had some cards made of several photographs she had taken. She sold about three sets of cards (5 cards to a set) and was pretty thrilled!
The downtown area was decorated, and had live music in different areas of the square. The “Marde Gras” side of the square had lots of neat vignettes and beautiful flowers.
I found a really neat wall with the coolest texture. The paint was peeling, and made a great backdrop. I had fun taking silly pictures of the boys.
